Parent Education
Parent education is a core part of the Mountain School program. Each semester the school offers a range of mini-courses for the parents to choose.
Classes may include:
- "The Gift of Failure"
- Connecting to Nature
- Newest & best books for the season
- Mindful Parenting
- Positive Discipline
- Raising Emotionally Healthy Children
- How to make your own DIY Non-Toxic Cleaners
- A Stick Horse Making class
Classes take place at the Schoolhouse, Lakeside Elementary, or The Los Gatos Recreation Center.
A list of upcoming courses is also published in our newsletter each semester and sign-ups are done through Sign-Up Genius.
